Job Description

Title: Supply Chain Informatics Analyst

Duration: Through 2027

Location: Remote

Summary

Works collaboratively with customers and supply chain leadership to push the supply chain systems, processes and data of Froedtert Health to the highest level. Responsible for the identification, development and implementation of business solutions for supply chain, including system and process improvements. Creates analytical tools and ad hoc reports for monitoring supply chain performance. This role develops standards for the use and creation of data within the ERP/MMIS. Coordinates small to medium size projects as assigned by the supply chain leadership team. Guides and mentors others in the duties of the team. This role develops tools and standards for use by the Supply Chain department. This role is responsible for maintaining detailed knowledge of Supply Chain systems, workflows, customer needs and health care supply chain industry.

Responsibilities

SUBJECT MATTER EXPERTISE: Achieves in depth understanding of Supply Chain systems and points of integration with other systems Develops in depth understanding of the healthcare regulatory environment to ensure compliance with applicable policies, Joint Commission standards, FDA regulations and other applicable standards. Independently participates in cross functional teams as a subject matter expert in Supply Chain business processes and Supply Chain systems Job Standard 3:

BUSINESS PROCESS EXCELLENCE: Uses advanced understanding of Supply Chain Systems & business process flows to make improvements to all aspects of FH Supply Chain activities. Investigates current state business processes to develop thorough understanding of supply chain business. Recommends process improvements and systems automations. Independently implements, tests and trains system & business process improvements.

CUSTOMER SERVICE: Trains and provides ongoing support to internal and external customers on the use of supply chain systems. Effectively documents customer needs and develops them into solutions. Creates strong partnerships with customers as an advocate for their needs. Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication skills.

MASTER DATA MANAGEMENT: Coordinates and/or participates in regular input, maintenance and cleansing of supply chain master information. Maintains ERP data in accordance with FH data policies and standards.

ANALYTICS: Writes reports that are accurate and easy to use. Works collaboratively with customers to explain reports and draw meaningful conclusions. Develops ad hoc reports, scheduled reports and dashboards for procurement, distribution, warehouse performance, vendor scoreboards/performance, contract & category performance.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT: Leads or coordinates small to medium sized projects for systems improvement, root cause analysis and workflow optimization. May represent supply chain in system wide project efforts. Coordinates the deployment of supply chain operations and systems to new facilities. Independently represents supply chain on special project teams. Manages Supply Chain recall and alert process, responses and communication for Froedtert Health.

SYSTEM MAINTENANCE: Works closely with IT and other customers to develop interfaces and monitor error logs. Resolves system issues including data processing and other errors for internal and external customers. Independently completes regular business activities such as patch testing, month & year end, user configuration in SAAS systems, etc. Independently develops standard tools for team & department use including test scripts, upload templates, and tip sheets.

SUPPLY CHAIN SYSTEMS OPTIMIZATION AND SUPPORT: Using the system development life cycle methodology, leads in planning, coordination, development, testing, training, implementation, monitoring, and enhancement of current Froedtert Health Supply Chain and Procurement Information System solutions. Provides expertise in the Infor Supply Chain ERP system (and related modules, such as MSCM) by designing processes, reports and extracts to be used by Supply Chain staff, their customers, and related Infor ERP modules (such as AP and Finance).

Other Information:

Five or more years of health care, purchasing, materials management, data management, IT or ERP experience is required. Five or more years of Supply Chain ERP/MMIS applications support experience is required. Familiarity with master data management principles, reporting writing, and advanced excel abilities are required. Experience with Infor’s ERP Supply Chain Management Module or Financial Management Module is preferred. Experience with Tecsys WMS, GHX software. Experience with Process Improvement methodologies such as Lean/Six Sigma is preferred. Experience with SQL, Crystal, Excel and other reporting/analytics tools. Bachelor’s degree or demonstrated equivalent experience in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Materials Management, Information Systems or a related field is required. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and perform in high stress situations with a heavy workload. Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills necessary to effectively interact with Froedtert Health leadership, staff, clinicians, and physicians. Excellent analytical and organizational skills, including process/detail focus and demonstrated ability to drive projects to completion. Proficient in MS Excel.
