This fully remote, contract role requires managing all aspects of interface implementation projects, including effective communication and collaboration with internal and external clients, as well as software vendors. The Project Manager will be responsible for prioritizing and escalating tasks, maintaining detailed and accurate project documentation, and facilitating project meetings, conference calls, and status updates. After gaining experience, you will also train and mentor new team members in both technical and non-technical workflows, including leading as a Primary Training PM. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, client-focused environment, demonstrates strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities, and has experience with healthcare workflows, HL7 specifications, and process improvement. This role offers the opportunity to innovate, contribute to process development, and build strong client relationships.<\/p>\n<h3><\/h3>\n<h3>WHAT YOU&#8217;LL DO<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide comprehensive project management for EDI interface implementations between client systems and EMR\/EHR, HIS, and LIS software platforms<\/li>\n<li>Facilitate effective communication and collaboration with internal and external clients and software vendors throughout the implementation process<\/li>\n<li>Manage, prioritize, and escalate project tasks to ensure timely and successful interface implementation<\/li>\n<li>Maintain detailed and accurate project documentation, ensuring all records are up-to-date and organized<\/li>\n<li>Lead and facilitate project meetings, conference calls, and status updates with stakeholders<\/li>\n<li>Troubleshoot and resolve project-related issues, offering solutions, process improvements, and developing short-term problem circumvention strategies as needed<\/li>\n<li>Train and mentor new Project Managers and team members in technical and non-technical workflows after gaining experience; lead training as a Primary Training PM<\/li>\n<li>Promote strong client relationships by anticipating client needs, ensuring requirements are addressed, and fostering good customer relations<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to process improvement and development initiatives within the team<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability while working collaboratively in a fast-paced, open-ended, team-oriented environment<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>WHAT YOU BRING<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree or equivalent military experience and leadership<\/li>\n<li>3-5 years of experience managing EMR software implementation workflows<\/li>\n<li>Experience with EDI interface project management (EMR\/EHR, HIS, LIS)<\/li>\n<li>Strong client and vendor communication skills across varying technical backgrounds<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in MS Office (Word &#038; Excel)<\/li>\n<li>Detail-oriented with effective project documentation skills<\/li>\n<li>Ability to manage, prioritize, and escalate project tasks in interface implementation projects<\/li>\n<li>Experience training and mentoring new Project Managers and team members on technical and non-technical workflows; ability to lead as a Primary Training PM<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of healthcare workflows and HL7 specifications preferred<\/li>\n<li>Process improvement and development skills<\/li>\n<li>Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities; able to anticipate client needs and offer solutions<\/li>\n<li>Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced, open-ended, team-oriented environment<\/li>\n<li>Results-focused, innovative, and able to develop short-term problem circumvention strategies<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u00a0#LI-CM1<\/p>\n<\/h4>\n","protected":false},"author":0,"featured_media":774,"template":"","meta":{"inline_featured_image":false,"_promoted":"","_job_location":"Durham, North Carolina","_application":"applications@staffingfuture.com","_company_name":"Medasource","_company_website":"","_company_tagline":"","_company_twitter":"","_company_video":"","_filled":0,"_featured":0,"_remote_position":0,"_job_salary":"","_job_salary_currency":"","_job_salary_unit":""},"job-types":[15],"class_list":["post-4096","job_listing","type-job_listing","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","job-type-contract"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v25.8 - https:\/\/yoast.com\/wordpress\/plugins\/seo\/ -->\n<title>EMR Project Manager, Durham North Carolina<\/title>\n<meta name=\"description\" content=\"EMR Project Manager, Durham North Carolina - - Search the latest jobs from Medasource.
