The project includes technology implementation, Epic application activities, laboratory systems integration, equipment and automation coordination, workflow redesign, operational readiness, regulatory compliance, organizational change management, and transition planning.<\/p>\n<h3>Job Description<\/h3>\n<p>The Technical Project Manager will lead the planning, coordination, and execution of the UCSF Health Central Pharmacy and laboratory relocation and activation project.<\/p>\n<p>The Project Manager will manage complex cross-functional activities involving:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Laboratory and pharmacy operations<\/li>\n<li>Epic Beaker and Willow applications<\/li>\n<li>Application build, implementation, optimization, and testing<\/li>\n<li>Laboratory information systems<\/li>\n<li>Equipment and automation integration<\/li>\n<li>IT infrastructure and networking<\/li>\n<li>Workflow redesign<\/li>\n<li>Operational readiness<\/li>\n<li>Regulatory and compliance requirements<\/li>\n<li>Organizational change management<\/li>\n<li>Vendor coordination<\/li>\n<li>Transition and go-live planning<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The role will partner with executive leadership, laboratory and pharmacy operations, clinical stakeholders, Health IT teams, technical teams, and external vendors. The Project Manager will be responsible for project governance, schedule and budget management, risk mitigation, stakeholder engagement, resource coordination, and successful transition to the centralized operating environment.<\/p>\n<p>This position requires an <strong>application and technology project manager<\/strong>, not a construction project manager or physical relocation-only manager.<\/p>\n<h3>Key Responsibilities<\/h3>\n<h4>Advanced Project Management \u2014 40%<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage highly complex technology projects using advanced project management methodologies.<\/li>\n<li>Establish project scope, requirements, milestones, deliverables, dependencies, and success criteria.<\/li>\n<li>Analyze and resolve complex project issues.<\/li>\n<li>Apply IT policies, procedures, and project management best practices.<\/li>\n<li>Develop recommendations and solutions for project-related challenges.<\/li>\n<li>Track project budgets, schedules, risks, issues, metrics, resources, and deliverables.<\/li>\n<li>Develop contingency and recovery plans when projects experience delivery, financial, or resource risks.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Project Delivery Leadership \u2014 40%<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Implement project management processes across clinical, operational, technical, and vendor teams.<\/li>\n<li>Initiate, design, and lead project proposals and execution plans.<\/li>\n<li>Develop project reporting, governance, and communication plans.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate stakeholders and resources to achieve project objectives.<\/li>\n<li>Drive Epic and other technology initiative delivery.<\/li>\n<li>Support application build, integration, testing, implementation, optimization, and activation activities.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate operational readiness, transition planning, and go-live preparation.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure project activities align with UCSF Health business and technology strategy.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Program and Team Leadership \u2014 20%<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Maintain overall responsibility for project outcomes.<\/li>\n<li>Assemble, coordinate, and lead project teams.<\/li>\n<li>Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and resource strategies.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor project budgets, timelines, milestones, and performance.<\/li>\n<li>Oversee vendor management and risk mitigation.<\/li>\n<li>Facilitate alignment among executives, operational teams, clinical stakeholders, and technical groups.<\/li>\n<li>Communicate project status, risks, decisions, and recommendations to senior leadership and external partners.<\/li>\n<li>Resolve ambiguous cross-functional challenges involving competing priorities and limited resources.<\/li>\n<li>Recommend prioritization and governance actions for enterprise initiatives.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Education, Certifications, and Licenses<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Required:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>PMP certification from PMI<\/li>\n<li>Epic certification in one or more clinical or revenue cycle applications<\/li>\n<li>Epic Beaker and\/or Willow certification, if applicable<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Resume Submission Requirements<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Every required qualification and skill must be clearly supported by the candidate\u2019s resume.<\/li>\n<li>The resume should specifically identify:\n<ul>\n<li>Epic project management experience<\/li>\n<li>Epic Beaker and\/or Willow experience<\/li>\n<li>Healthcare project experience<\/li>\n<li>Application build, implementation, optimization, or activation work<\/li>\n<li>Technology project delivery experience<\/li>\n<li>Budget, schedule, risk, resource, and vendor management<\/li>\n<li>Executive and cross-functional stakeholder communication<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Candidates whose background is limited to construction management, facilities relocation, or physical move coordination should not be submitted.<\/li>\n<li>Resume must be submitted <strong>without a Medasource logo<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>File name must not include \u201cMedasource.\u201d<\/li>\n<li>Include the candidate\u2019s Bay Area location and onsite availability.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Interview Process<\/h2>\n<ol>\n<li>Resume submittal and client review<\/li>\n<li>Panel interview conducted by video<\/li>\n<li>Job offer<\/li>\n<li>Onboarding<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Follow-Up Date &#038;
