{"id":3139,"date":"2026-05-14T16:38:55","date_gmt":"2026-05-14T16:38:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jobs.medasource.com\/jobs\/job\/a1wcv000000ya9peag-pro-fee-coder-reno-nevada\/"},"modified":"2026-05-14T16:38:56","modified_gmt":"2026-05-14T16:38:56","slug":"a1wcv000000ya9peag-pro-fee-coder-reno-nevada","status":"publish","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/jobs.medasource.com\/jobs\/job\/a1wcv000000ya9peag-pro-fee-coder-reno-nevada\/","title":{"rendered":"Pro Fee Coder"},"content":{"rendered":"<h4>\n<p><strong>Professional Fee Medical Coder (Remote \u2013 Contract)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>We are partnering with a leading regional health system to bring on Professional Fee Medical Coders for a fully remote contract opportunity supporting a variety of hospitalist, surgical, and outpatient clinic specialties.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<h3>Position Overview<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Role:<\/strong> Professional Fee Medical Coder<\/p>\n<p><strong>Location:<\/strong> 100% Remote <\/p>\n<p><strong>Contract Length:<\/strong> 6 months with extensions\/renewals<\/p>\n<p><strong>Start Date:<\/strong> Mid-June target<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<h3>What You\u2019ll Be Doing<\/h3>\n<p>Perform professional fee coding across a variety of specialties including:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Hospitalist<\/li>\n<li>Surgery<\/li>\n<li>Outpatient Clinic<\/li>\n<li>Additional specialty areas as needed<\/li>\n<li>Ensure accurate and timely coding in accordance with organizational and regulatory standards<\/li>\n<li>Support multiple coding workstreams and record types<\/li>\n<li>Maintain strong coding quality in a QA-monitored environment<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate effectively within a fully remote coding team<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Qualifications<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>3+ years of Professional Fee coding experience<\/li>\n<li>Experience supporting multiple profee specialties preferred<\/li>\n<li>Strong background in hospitalist, surgical, and\/or outpatient clinic coding<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work across multiple coding areas rather than a highly siloed specialty<\/li>\n<li>Strong understanding of coding compliance and documentation standards<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Preferred:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience in larger health systems or high-volume environments<\/li>\n<li>CPC, CCS-P, RHIT, and\/or RHIA credentials preferred<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Technical Requirements<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Epic experience preferred<\/li>\n<li>Experience with remote coding environments and QA workflows<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Performance Expectations<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Accuracy: 95%+<\/li>\n<li>OP Clinic productivity target: ~15\u201320 encounters\/hr<\/li>\n<li>Productivity expectations for hospitalist\/surgical coding are specialty-dependent<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<\/h4>\n","protected":false},"author":0,"featured_media":774,"template":"","meta":{"inline_featured_image":false,"_promoted":"","_job_location":"Reno, Nevada","_application":"applications@staffingfuture.com","_company_name":"Medasource","_company_website":"","_company_tagline":"","_company_twitter":"","_company_video":"","_filled":0,"_featured":0,"_remote_position":0,"_job_salary":"","_job_salary_currency":"","_job_salary_unit":""},"job-types":[15],"class_list":{"0":"post-3139","1":"job_listing","2":"type-job_listing","3":"status-publish","4":"has-post-thumbnail","5":"hentry","7":"job-type-contract"},"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v25.8 - https:\/\/yoast.com\/wordpress\/plugins\/seo\/ -->\n<title>Pro Fee Coder, Reno Nevada<\/title>\n<meta name=\"description\" content=\"Pro Fee Coder, Reno Nevada - - Search the latest jobs from Medasource.
