This hands-on role supports a major phased equipment cleanup, inventory, and asset management project as the organization vacates its corporate headquarters. All work will be performed at a single location. The position requires physical capability, attention to detail, and adaptability to shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment. You will play a key part in ensuring all IT assets are properly inventoried, relocated, and documented, supporting both IT and facilities teams throughout the process.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<h3>WHAT YOU&#8217;LL DO<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Remove monitor arms and monitors from cubicle walls and desks throughout the building.<\/li>\n<li>Conduct physical inventory of all on-site equipment, including monitors, docking stations, cables, peripherals, and other IT assets.<\/li>\n<li>Scan asset tags on monitors using a barcode scanner and document findings in Excel\/Smartsheet.<\/li>\n<li>Sort and stage equipment by disposition: keep, consolidate, trash, or flag for e-recycling pickup.<\/li>\n<li>Move equipment within the building as directed, including between floors and towers (North to South) as needed.<\/li>\n<li>Support the DXC area on the North side of the building with staging and sorting.<\/li>\n<li>Assist the Media Services team with sorting and disposing of AV storage across the building.<\/li>\n<li>Perform general cleanup and trash removal throughout the facility.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain accurate, up-to-date inventory documentation throughout the project.<\/li>\n<li>Participate in daily stand-up meetings to align on priorities and report on progress.<\/li>\n<li>Take direction from on-site client technicians and facilities staff, adjusting to evolving project needs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>WHAT YOU BRING<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Prior experience in IT asset management, hardware decommissioning, or IT equipment handling.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to lift and carry equipment (monitors, arms, peripherals); physical work is a core part of this role.<\/li>\n<li>Comfortable working in an active office\/IT environment with shifting daily priorities.<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with barcode scanners and asset tagging systems.<\/li>\n<li>Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; all equipment must be accurately stored and accounted for.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to follow direction from on-site leads and adjust priorities as the scope evolves.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/h4>\n","protected":false},"author":0,"featured_media":774,"template":"","meta":{"inline_featured_image":false,"_promoted":"","_job_location":"West Valley City, Utah","_application":"applications@staffingfuture.com","_company_name":"Medasource","_company_website":"","_company_tagline":"","_company_twitter":"","_company_video":"","_filled":0,"_featured":0,"_remote_position":0,"_job_salary":"","_job_salary_currency":"","_job_salary_unit":""},"job-types":[15],"class_list":{"0":"post-2927","1":"job_listing","2":"type-job_listing","3":"status-publish","4":"has-post-thumbnail","5":"hentry","7":"job-type-contract"},"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v25.8 - https:\/\/yoast.com\/wordpress\/plugins\/seo\/ -->\n<title>IT Field Technician, West Valley City Utah<\/title>\n<meta name=\"description\" content=\"IT Field Technician, West Valley City Utah - - Search the latest jobs from Medasource.
