Digital Specialist
Lake Forest, IL
On-Site Role (Hybrid arrangement)
$30-40 per hour
12-month contract

ABOUT THE ROLE

Our Client is seeking a creative, analytical, and highly experienced Digital Marketing Specialist for a 12-month contract based in Lake Forest, IL, with a hybrid work arrangement. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in developing and optimizing digital content strategies to drive engagement and growth across divisional websites. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and external agencies, providing strategic recommendations for digital campaigns, optimizing user experience through data-driven insights, and supporting enterprise SEO initiatives. This is a highly collaborative position requiring hands-on digital marketing experience, strong project management skills, and the ability to deliver customer-focused digital solutions in a regulated environment. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of digital marketing experience, familiarity with the healthcare industry, and a proven track record of executing cohesive digital strategies that produce measurable business results.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Partner cross-functionally across the organization to help shape, influence, and advance digital strategy, leveraging data-driven insights to enhance customer journeys and optimize overall digital experiences
  • Review and provide strategic recommendations on landing pages, social media content, and email marketing campaigns prior to launch to ensure alignment with brand standards, regulatory requirements, and performance objectives
  • Utilize analytics, performance insights, and industry best practices to continuously optimize user experience, digital strategies, content effectiveness, and channel performance across all digital touchpoints
  • Support enterprise SEO initiatives by leading onsite optimization efforts, including keyword research, content alignment, on-page enhancements, and coordination of technical SEO improvements
  • Foster strong, collaborative relationships across all levels of the organization, maintaining positive and professional communication with employees, customers, contractors, vendors, and agency partners
  • Collaborate closely with external agencies to plan, execute, and refine digital programs, ensuring deliverables align with strategic objectives and performance expectations
  • Remain informed of evolving digital marketing trends, emerging media channels, and platform advancements, proactively identifying opportunities to strengthen digital capabilities
  • Participate in ongoing system training and platform enhancements to maintain fluency in digital marketing technologies and tools
  • Ensure all digital activities are executed in compliance with established Digital Marketing policies, brand standards, and regulatory guidelines
  • Continuously monitor developments in digital media and marketing innovation to proactively recommend improvements that drive sustained digital growth

WHAT YOU BRING

  • 10 years of experience in digital marketing with demonstrated experience supporting digital campaigns, content strategy, or website optimization initiatives
  • Familiarity with the healthcare industry and applicable regulatory considerations, with the ability to operate effectively within a regulated environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate ideas and translate complex information into compelling digital content
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively collaborate and communicate with internal stakeholders, cross-functional partners, and external agencies
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a high level of accuracy and commitment to quality execution
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to analyze information and develop practical, data-driven solutions
  • Solid project management skills, including the ability to prioritize multiple initiatives and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
  • Experience working collaboratively with technology, marketing, and creative teams within a fast-paced, agile setting
