Job Description

VP, BPaaS Implementations (Healthcare)

Remote role (U.S.-based, travel as needed)

Compensation: $250,000 – $275,000 per year

ABOUT THE ROLE

Our client is seeking a dynamic VP of BPaaS Implementations to lead large-scale, cross-functional implementation projects for healthcare BPaaS clients. In this executive role, you will be responsible for overseeing the seamless integration of technology, processes, and operations, ensuring high-quality delivery across multiple programs. You will provide strategic leadership in project governance, stakeholder management, and delivery excellence, serving as an executive sponsor for complex initiatives. The ideal candidate brings deep experience in healthcare project and program management, a proven track record in technology and operations transitions within BPaaS or outsourcing environments, and the ability to lead large, matrixed teams and executive stakeholders. This U.S.-based position requires travel as needed.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Lead end-to-end implementation of BPaaS engagements, including both system deployments and operational transitions for healthcare clients
  • Establish and manage program governance, project plans, timelines, and budgets to ensure successful delivery
  • Collaborate closely with clients and internal delivery teams to ensure milestones, deliverables, and SLAs are consistently met
  • Drive risk management, change control, and issue resolution across multiple workstreams and programs
  • Support pre-implementation planning, readiness assessments, and resource modeling to ensure project success
  • Serve as an executive sponsor for complex implementation initiatives, providing leadership and guidance to cross-functional teams
  • Oversee delivery quality and ensure seamless integration of technology, process, and operations across all programs
  • Manage stakeholder communications and executive reporting, ensuring transparency and alignment with organizational goals

WHAT YOU BRING

  • 15+ years of experience in healthcare project or program management, with at least 7 years leading enterprise-scale implementations
  • Proven experience managing technology and operations transitions in a BPaaS or outsourcing environment
  • PMP or equivalent project management certification strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to manage large, matrixed teams and executive-level stakeholders in complex environments
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred
  • Willingness and ability to travel as needed within the U.S.
