Job Description

Position Overview:

The Revenue Integrity Analyst is responsible for evaluating and improving revenue cycle workflows, supporting charge accuracy, ensuring proper coding/billing practices, and partnering with clinical and operational stakeholders to drive scalable improvements. The analyst will leverage Epic reporting and workflow knowledge to identify breakdowns, recommend enhancements, and support sustainable process change.

Start Date: ASAP

Job Responsibilities:

  • Conduct workflow and charge capture assessments to identify gaps and improvement opportunities
  • Analyze revenue cycle data, trends, variances, and payer reimbursement impacts
  • Recommend workflow adjustments, documentation improvements, and process controls
  • Support Epic workflow optimization and Work Queue performance improvements
  • Collaborate with Coding, HIM, Finance, and Clinical teams to ensure charge accuracy and workflow compliance
  • Assist in developing reporting dashboards and KPI tracking
  • Provide education to departments on documentation, charging processes, and compliance updates
  • Support larger performance optimization initiatives and continuous improvement projects

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years Revenue Cycle experience required (7+ if no degree)
  • One of the following certifications required: CPC, CCS, or CPB
  • Strong Epic workflow and Work Queue experience
  • Knowledge of payer reimbursement rules and revenue integrity best practices
  • Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
