Job Description
Job Title: Epic Interoperability Lead
Location: Hybrid / Primarily Remote
Start Date: ASAP

Position Overview:
The Epic Interoperability Lead will support data exchange between Epic and external systems, focusing on Care Everywhere, CERM, and EpicCare Link functionality. The analyst will maintain interoperability standards, manage referral and secure messaging workflows, and troubleshoot data exchange issues. This person should be able to work independently, engage cross-functionally with IT and clinical teams, and proactively identify opportunities to improve interoperability processes.

Job Responsibilities:
- Lead interoperability initiatives across Care Everywhere, CERM, and CareLink
- Support Epic-to-non-Epic and Epic-to-eClinicalWorks data integrations
- Maintain and manage exchange direct protocols and secure message transmission
- Oversee phone books of exchange systems and referral management workflows
- Troubleshoot and resolve data exchange and referral interface issues
- Collaborate with internal analysts, clinicians, and IT partners to optimize workflows
- Ensure adherence to Epic best practices and national interoperability standards
- Contribute to documentation, onboarding, and ongoing optimization of Epic interoperability processes

Qualifications:
- Proven Epic interoperability experience (Care Everywhere, CareLink, CERM)
- Strong understanding of data exchange standards and Epic integration workflows
- Epic Care Everywhere and/or CareLink certification strongly preferred
- Experience with Epic Bridges and Ambulatory modules a plus
- Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and independent work capabilities
- Motivated, adaptable, and eager to take ownership of key interoperability initiatives
