- Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues for X-Ray, Fluoroscopy, Mammography, Ultrasound, Mobile Radiography, C-Arms, and Bone Density (DEXA) systems.
- Support advanced imaging systems (CT, MRI) in collaboration with senior engineers and OEM service providers.
- Travel to various hospitals, outpatient imaging centers, and clinics within the Southern California region to provide on-site support.
- Document service activities, maintenance records, and regulatory compliance requirements in the CMMS system.
- Coordinate equipment installations, upgrades, relocations, and decommissioning projects.
- Ensure compliance with manufacturer specifications, Joint Commission standards, state regulations, and organizational policies.
- Collaborate with radiology, clinical engineering, IT, and facility teams to support imaging operations and minimize equipment downtime.
- Manage service calls, prioritize work orders, and communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding equipment status and service updates.
- Support equipment evaluations, lifecycle planning, and provide recommendations for capital replacement.
WHAT YOU BRING
- Associate’s degree in Biomedical Equipment Technology, Electronics Technology, Military Technical Training, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience servicing diagnostic imaging equipment in a hospital, healthcare system, OEM, or third-party service environment.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and repair multiple imaging modalities independently, including X-Ray, Fluoroscopy, Mammography, Ultrasound, Mobile Radiography, C-Arms, and DEXA.
- Working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, networking, and imaging system technologies.
- Experience with preventive and corrective maintenance of diagnostic imaging equipment.
- Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel regionally across Southern California.
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance (Joint Commission, state regulations) and documentation in CMMS systems.
- Ability to coordinate with vendors, OEMs, and clinical teams.
- Preferred: CBET, CRES, or OEM modality certifications.
- Preferred: Experience supporting CT, MRI, Cath Lab, or Interventional Radiology systems.
- Preferred: Knowledge of PACS, DICOM, HL7, and imaging informatics systems.

WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU
- Opportunity to work with leading healthcare facilities across Southern California.
- Exposure to a wide range of imaging modalities and advanced technologies.
- Collaborative work environment with clinical, technical, and vendor partners.
- Potential for contract extension and long-term engagement.
