Job Title: Project Manager – HEOR Central Communications

Location: Indianapolis, IN

Duration: 12- months

Start Date: February 16th

Job Description

Our client is seeking a Project Manager for HEOR Central Operations to oversee the planning and execution of Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) initiatives. Based in Indianapolis, IN, this 12-month, on-site role requires managing multiple workstreams, applying project management best practices, and ensuring effective communication of progress, risks, and decisions. The Project Manager will collaborate across functions and levels, lead SharePoint site management, maintain project trackers using Smartsheet, support cost center documentation, and create job aids and quick reference guides. Success in this position demands strong organizational and communication skills, learning agility, high emotional intelligence (EQ), and proficiency with Microsoft platforms. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, complex environment, apply critical thinking to drive best practices, and deliver on-time execution with speed, quality, and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain communication plans for HEOR Central projects (e.g., NextGen, SharePoint Site, Expert Automation)
  • Lead and manage the HEOR SharePoint Site
  • Oversee projects and collaborate with team members based on HEOR Central roadmap and NexGen recommendations
  • Manage the HEOR Central portfolio tracker using Smartsheet
  • Support cost center management, including creating documentation that explains differences in cost center management across the portfolio
  • Create quick reference guides and job aids tailored to role-based needs
  • Effectively manage upward, communicate cross-functionally, anticipate and resolve issues, execute change management, ensure key documentation, and provide project status updates
  • Identify integration issues, remove barriers, and track project status to achieve desired outcomes
  • Ensure compliance with policies and procedures for administration of key initiatives
  • Lead additional projects as assigned
  • Document and communicate information in a clear, concise, and consistent manner
  • Apply critical thinking to identify trends, new information, or scenarios to drive best practices in data gathering, problem-solving, communication planning, and continuous improvement
  • Work successfully with limited information in a complex environment
  • Deliver on-time execution with speed, quality, and operational excellence

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a health-related field
  • 3+ years of experience in healthcare or pharmaceutical regulated industry
  • 2+ years of project management experience
  • Experience with both Waterfall and Agile project management methodologies
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft platforms (SharePoint, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Forms; Smartsheet preferred)
  • Strong business and technology aptitude
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple workstreams and projects simultaneously
  • Learning agility and high emotional intelligence (EQ)
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and work effectively in a fast-paced, complex environment
  • Critical thinking skills to identify trends, new information, and drive continuous improvement
