ABOUT THE ROLE
Our client, a leader in the medical device industry, is seeking a Commercial Implementation Project Manager for a 4-month remote contract to lead the migration from a legacy system to Salesforce Marketing Cloud. In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day execution of the project, serving as the primary point of contact and ensuring seamless coordination across Marketing Operations, IT, and an external agency. You will manage project tracking, translate technical and business requirements, maintain schedules and risk documentation, and ensure all milestones and deliverables are met on time. This is an opportunity to drive a critical system transformation, working independently while collaborating with diverse stakeholders to deliver successful outcomes.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Serve as the primary project manager for the Salesforce Marketing Cloud implementation, replacing a legacy system.
- Coordinate tasks, timelines, and communication across internal teams (Marketing Operations, IT) and the external agency, including agency project managers and implementation teams.
- Manage internal project tracking, ensuring task alignment, action items, and progress updates are clearly documented and communicated.
- Maintain and update the project schedule, track dependencies, identify and manage risks, and ensure all project documentation is current.
- Ensure internal business deadlines are aligned with IT and agency technical milestones, proactively addressing any gaps or misalignments.
- Translate technical language into business-friendly terms and vice versa to facilitate clear understanding among all stakeholders.
- Support cross-functional clarity and accountability, driving effective collaboration and ensuring all parties are aligned on project goals and deliverables.
WHAT YOU BRING
- 5+ years of project management experience, ideally within technology or marketing system implementations.
- PMP or similar project management certification required.
- Proven ability to interpret commercial requirements and translate effectively between business and IT stakeholders.
- Experience collaborating with external agencies and cross-functional project management teams.
- Highly organized, structured, and detail-oriented, with a demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to facilitate alignment and accountability across diverse teams.
