Location: Remote, ad hoc travel to hospital sites in Baltimore area

Duration: 6 months contract to hire

Start Date: ASAP

 

Job Description: Our healthcare client is seeking a Sr. Healthcare Productivity Analyst Lead to support an ongoing productivity improvement project across the health system. This professional will be responsible for using the data tool, Truven Action OI, to help evaluate data from all departments at all sites, identify trends, identify groups or individuals not improving productivity and appropriately reporting the data. Additionally, this resource will be responsible at times for leading portions of this large-scaled analytics project.

 

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Experience with Truven Action OI benchmarking and productivity analysis required
  • Change Management experience
  • Project leadership/management experience
  • 3+ years of Data Analytics experience
  • Strong Communication Skills
  • Experience demonstrating negotiation skills
  • Analytical mindset with good problem-solving skills
  • College degree or equivalent work experience, preferably in the healthcare industry
  • Statistics, Healthcare, Mathematics, Economics majors preferred

 

 Responsibilities: 

  • Collecting data from multiple sites using Truven Action OI
  • Identifying data trends and accurately report data collected
  • Leading efforts from time to time during the project
  • Analyzing data to assist in delivering optimal healthcare management and decision making
  • Improving productivity across organization with the use of data analytics tools (Truven Action OI, Excel, etc.)
  • Communicating analytic insights to management
