Position: SNU SME

Location: 100% Remote

Duration: 1 year contract with possibility of extension

Start Date: ASAP



Job Description:

  • This SNU will join a team of 6 product analysts to help with the Expanse nursing build
  • The other 6 product analysts have no clinical experience so this SNU will need to be an expert with documentation, compliances, and workflows
  • Documenting current workflows for clinical staff for expanse
  • focusing on identifying various specs for tech product teams
  • specialty focus is in SKILLED NURSING UNITS, POST ACUTE

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in nursing, informatics or related field of study is required. Additional relevant certification a plus
  • Nursing degree required
  • Experience in skilled nursing unit
  • Experience with Meditech
  • 2-5 years experience within acute care clinical environment in related area
  • Two or more years implementation experience and/or support of clinical information systems in a healthcare environment preferred
  • Experience with Meditech, expert within documentation and compliances


  • Build documentation for Expanse for nursing requirements
  • Run point on user requirements
  • Fully understand clinical workflow
  • Coordinates with clinicians and physicians in documenting current clinical workflows, performing gap analysis
  • Participates in all facets of the project for their respective area including current state analysis, future state design, data collection, build, testing, data conversion, training, and go-live support.
  • Requirements to ensure optimal use of the solutions
  • Assist in the design of the electronic health record
  • Provide solution and process knowledge in support of system design, process reengineering and learning plan development Identify the specialty workflow and assist in defining a standardized work process
  • Working with team to develop and execute unit, system and integration test plans
  • Test solution configuration and certify readiness for conversion
  • Participate in implementation strategies
  • Support end-user training
