Innovation Readiness Project Manager

Location: Indianapolis, IN

Duration: Rolling Contract (through EOY)

 

Position Overview:

Our client is seeking an experienced Innovation Readiness Project Manager to provide day-to-day operational support for the newly launched E360 platform. This role focuses on managing operational communications, project management, and content creation within the Innovation Readiness function. The consultant will play a key role in ensuring alignment between cross-functional teams, optimizing workflows, and enhancing communication strategies.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Support for the E360 Platform:

  • Provide operational day-to-day support, including triaging, training, and communications.
  • Aggregate business requirements to guide future platform releases and ensure successful implementation of changes.

Oversight of Tools & Systems:

  • Manage and maintain the SharePoint site and related resources to ensure the smooth running of the platform.
  • Oversee the supporting tools and systems for operational efficiency.

Project Management:

  • Develop and manage detailed project plans for asset teams across business units (BUs) related to Innovation Readiness assessments and plans.
  • Track progress, mitigate risks, and ensure timely delivery, securing funding for Innovation Readiness plans.

Communication & Coordination:

  • Develop and implement a communication plan to support the evolving Innovation Readiness capability.
  • Act as a liaison between business leaders and other teams within medical affairs, explaining decisions and ensuring alignment.

Content & Data Management:

  • Manage and clean communication templates, create content (newsletters, internal marketing materials, etc.), and ensure it aligns with business goals.
  • Analyze and determine the necessary data to be incorporated into the platform for enhanced decision-making.
  1. Risk Management:
  • Proactively identify and address issues that may impact deliverables.
  • Collaborate with Innovation Readiness leads to manage risks and ensure the stability of platform operations.

 

Required Qualifications:

Experience:

  • Background in pharma, biotech, or clinical research preferred, but not mandatory.
  • Proven experience with SharePoint or similar tools, and operational communications.
  • Ability to manage and navigate cross-functional communication, particularly with leaders within medical affairs.

Skills & Expertise:

  • Strong experience with operational communications, including the creation and management of newsletters, templates, and internal resources.
  • Ability to work independently in a non-structured environment, taking initiative to navigate challenges.
  • Solid understanding of business processes and data integration to support decision-making.

Key Competencies:

  • Exceptional communication and coordination skills to align business leaders and teams.
  • Strong project management skills to ensure successful implementation and maintenance of platform improvements.

Preferred:

  • Experience with content creation (newsletters, internal marketing materials) and understanding of how to communicate technical or operational decisions to non-technical teams.
  • Knowledge of Innovation Readiness processes is a plus.
