Process Improvement Consultant
Job Summary: We are looking for a highly skilled Process Improvement & Operations Specialist to support strategic initiatives with our clients Medical Policy division. This role will focus on process optimization, performance measurement, and technical enablement.
Ideal candidates will bring:
- Strong background in coding, Lean Six Sigma methodologies, health plan operations, with a particular emphasis on Medical Policy
- Technical acumen; experience with Quickbase is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to develop KPIs, QA frameworks, and audit processes
- Experience in technical documentation and training delivery
This role will follow three main phases:
- Process Mapping & Strategic Framework Development
- Leverage Lean Six Sigma principles to conduct comprehensive process mapping and workflow design
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define swim lane responsibilities, identify operational pain points, and address domain-specific challenges
- Support the strategic leadership team in developing a sustainable process improvement framework and reporting infrastructure
- Document technical processes and workflows with clarity and precision
- KPI Development & Quality Oversight
- Design and implement KPIs, quality assurance frameworks, and audit processes
- Translate Phsae 1 findings into actionable training materials and provide hands-on oversight to operational teams
- Ensure continuous improvement through feedback loops and performance monitoring
- Technical Enablement & Tool Optimization
- Serve as a technical subject matter expert with deep familiarity in Medical Policy and reporting methodologies
- Streamline and enhance Quickbase tools to support operational efficiency
- Deliver technical training and ongoing support to ensure adoption & profiency
