Project Manager – Cerner/Oracle Health
2 year contract- starting at 6 months and extending from there
Start Date: 01/02 (or sooner)
Remote, 40 hrs/week (Must work EST Hours)
Position Summary
Under limited supervision manages all aspects of a wide variety of information system projects; projects ranging in complexity, cost and scope. The project manager is responsible for all phases of project management including the following, but not limited to: project planning, budgeting, timeline and task management, risk and issue management, resource management, communication, scope management, implementation, and project closure. The project manager works to ensure that System or departmental projects are delivered on time, budget and scope. The project manager is adept at communicating with a varying range of end-users, business and operational leaders, executives and project resources
Job Description/Responsibilities:
-Works with colleagues using standard project management documents and methodologies while managing immediate and long term resolution to risks or issues identified
-Manages all aspects of project to ensure that projects are successfully completed on time and within budget
-Performs those processes that are required to track, review and regulate the progress and performance of the project
-Support a project portfolio of approximately 4-5 Informatics/EHR Enhancement interventions
-Work directly with Clinical, Operational, and IT stakeholders to gather requirements and manage expectations
-Helping to strategize & design EHR/Informatics project plans, as well as execute on them
-Will be developing/disseminating best practices for end users, in addition to coordinating training schedules, assessing metrics, etc.
-Will be working with data to analyze and support decision making
-Coordinating the scheduling, maintenance of project and outcomes measurement
Required Qualifications:
-Project Management experience (specifically with Cerner/Oracle EHR & Informatics initiatives in ambulatory & acute settings)
-Cerner/Oracle Health EHR experience
-Clinical Informatics experience (Physician & Nursing)
-Functional understanding of technical aspects & requirements of the Cerner/Oracle EHR system
-Experience establishing EHR workflows
-Experience developing & disseminating best practices for EHR end users
-Change Management experience
-Experience communicating with clinical, IT, & operational executive stakeholders
-Data Analysis experience
-Experience coordinating, tracking, & maintaining project/outcome measurements
-Smartsheet experience
Preferred Qualifications:

-Cerner/Oracle Health development & build experience
