Job Description:

My Client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated MRI Engineer to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of MRI equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional service to clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, calibrate, and maintain MRI equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Perform routine and preventive maintenance on MRI systems.
  • Diagnose and repair equipment malfunctions, including coils and tables.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to improve and update MRI systems.
  • Provide technical support and training to medical staff and clients.
  • Maintain accurate records of service activities and equipment performance.
  • Conduct inventory validation.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Report to the Parnassus location but be expected to travel to the other 7 locations (viable transportation is available).


  • Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience working with MRI equipment.
  • Strong technical knowledge of MRI systems and components.
  • Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to travel as required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with specific MRI systems (e.g., Siemens, GE, Philips). The client is a GE shop.
  • Certification in MRI technology.
  • Knowledge of DICOM and PACS systems.
  • Previous experience in a healthcare environment.
  • Expertise in ultrasound and CT (preferred but not required).

Work Schedule:

  • Open shift: 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM.
