Job Title: Manager – Patient & HCP Voice in Design

Job Description:

The Clinical Trial Patient Engagement team is seeking two (2) experienced Patient & HCP Voice in Design Managers to lead patient and healthcare provider (HCP) insights gathering and integration into clinical trial design. These roles will focus on ensuring that clinical trial materials, strategies, and experiences are informed by direct patient and HCP feedback, improving engagement and accessibility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead patient and HCP insight-gathering initiatives, ensuring their perspectives inform clinical trial materials and engagement strategies.
  • Oversee CoDesign-type activities, collaborating with vendors who execute insight collection efforts.
  • Act as the primary liaison between the client and external vendors, ensuring project goals are met efficiently.
  • Analyze and synthesize patient and HCP feedback to identify key themes and actionable recommendations.
  • Support the development of trial design improvements, ensuring patient-centric and provider-friendly approaches.
  • Maintain compliance with pharmaceutical industry regulations, ensuring ethical and effective insight-gathering methodologies.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with clinical teams, patient engagement specialists, and regulatory teams to implement findings.

 

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in patient engagement, HCP relations, clinical research, or human-centered design in pharmaceuticals, healthcare, or life sciences.
  • Strong background in qualitative and quantitative research methods for patient and HCP insights.
  • Experience working with vendors and external partners for research and data collection.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives.
  • Familiarity with clinical trial processes, regulatory requirements, and patient-centric approaches.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to synthesize insights into strategic recommendations.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in CoDesign, human-centered design (HCD), or patient experience research.
  • Knowledge of clinical trial recruitment and retention challenges.
  • Background in healthcare marketing, UX research, or patient advocacy.
  • Proficiency with research tools, data analysis platforms, or engagement tracking systems.
