Job Description:
A Sonographer, is responsible for using ultrasound equipment to help visualize internal anatomy functions. Their duties include calibrating and manipulating ultrasound equipment to conduct appointments, taking pictures or videos of potential abnormalities, and discreetly notifying medical personnel if they identify something concerning.

-Ability to work independently without direct supervision
-Time management is a critical skill
-Basic computer skills
-Sterile procedure
-Provides correct patient identification, technique, education, instruction, and transportation, as necessary
-Serves as preceptor for imaging procedures
-Operates all imaging and Doppler/duplex equipment with proper technique
-Meets all computer and documentation competencies
