Job Title: Epic Beaker CP Analyst
Location: Remote
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: Through Nov 2026
About the Role:
The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Epic Beaker CP, with a strong track record of 3 or more successful Beaker implementations. This role demands a strategic thinker and a hands-on Epic-certified expert who can work closely with lab and IT leadership, clinical stakeholders, and project teams to ensure a seamless and clinically aligned deployment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the implementation of Epic Beaker CP from planning through go-live and stabilization.
- Serve as the primary analyst for all Beaker CP build, configuration, and workflow design across multiple hospital environments.
- Collaborate with pathology teams, lab directors, and IT partners to gather requirements and translate them into optimized Epic workflows.
- Configure laboratory workflows, including specimen tracking, case accessioning, grossing, histology, pathology reporting, and result delivery.
- Ensure integration with other modules such as Bridges (interfaces), and third-party lab systems.
- Conduct system testing, validation, and change management support.
- Provide leadership in training, go-live support, and knowledge transfer to internal staff.
- Participate in governance meetings and present progress updates to leadership.
- Mentor junior analysts and act as a subject matter expert for Epic Beaker CP.
Qualifications:
- Epic Beaker CP certification required and in good standing.
- 3+ full Epic Beaker CP implementations (including at least one in a multi-facility health system).
- 5+ years of experience with Epic Beaker, including build, testing, and workflow design.
- Strong understanding of laboratory operations and pathology workflows in large healthcare environments.
- Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally across clinical, operational, and IT teams.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
