Job Title: Enrollment Specialist

Location: REMOTE (Grand Rapids, MI)

Start Date: August 19, 2024

Duration: August 19, 2024 – February 28, 2025


Job Summary: The Enrollment Specialist will be responsible for initiating, processing, and completing applications for enrollments of providers with government and contracted commercial payers as well as managing the ongoing participation requirements. Additionally, the Enrollment Specialist will apply fundamental knowledge of procedures related to identifying and performing root cause analysis to identify enrollment and claim issues.


Job duties include:

  • Assist in the full range of Enrollment interaction (includes all actions involved in the process of enrolling with a range of payers.
  • Respond to enrollment inquiries, and minimize potential revenue delays or losses
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve enrollment issues
  • Monitor defined reports and coordinate with applicable departments to ensure accounts receivable is properly stated
  • Maintain working knowledge of workflow, systems, and tools used in the department

Job Qualifications:

  • Ability to follow instructions and maintain precise and intense attention to detail
  • Sense of responsibility, initiative, and honesty
  • Experience working directly in FACETS.
  • Ability to communicate and work effectively with peers, management, and external contacts (business partners, network contacts, providers, and vendors)
  • Consistently demonstrate skills in organization, prioritization, and professionalism to ensure timely enrollments
  • Excellent time management skills, organizational skills, and people skills required to meet requested start dates.
  • Ability to understand legal entities as related to Tax ID’s (TINs), Authorized officials AO’s which, are typically those at the highest levels in the organization.
  • Ability to communicate at all levels of the organization (Providers, Vice Chairs, CFO level, Practice Managers, and Service Line administrators.
  • Understanding of the legal entity type, pay to information requirements/addresses and reasons behind the need to be correct in identifying.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills (Demonstrates a strong ability to analyze problems and implement process improvements)
  • Self-starter, self-motivated, with the ability to manage multiple projects
  • Structured, flexible, and open to an ever-changing environment
  • Motivated to perform duties proficiently under extreme time constraints while maintaining a professional demeanor to meet mandatory deadlines
  • Must be able to work in a team orientated environment and have excellent organizational, written, and oral communication skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
