Job Description:

An electrical compliance engineer who is responsible for overseeing electrical design and ensuring it meets compliance and supporting work for wireless testing as the client onboards new devices and moves to other technologies.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering
  • 2+ years of experience OR a masters degree
  • Understand Electromagnetic Design Theory
  • Analog circuit design experience – electronic control
  • Experience in prototyping and qualifying designs
  • Analyze and interpret government agency regulations (UL, CSA, CE, FCC, etc)
  • Wireless antennae testing experience
  • Experience in cost analysis of electronic controls and designing to meet cost targets


  • Perform electromagnetic compatibility and interference compliance testing on cutting edge wireless devices using antennas and spectrum analysis and time domain measurement equipment
  • Compile Detailed Tests using MS word, MS Excel, and Adobe Acrobat
  • Interface and communicate with product development teams to ensure device compliance and client satisfaction
  • Collaborate in an engineering team environment and assist in development and improvement of test methodologies, reporting, coordination of various tasks
  • Coordinate and manage multiple projects with multiple deadlines
  • Work 40-60 hours per week
