Job Title: Director, Operational Effectiveness and Optimization Office

Job Description:
- Experienced research administrator in the areas of pre-award, post-award, clinical trials, observational, compliance and regulatory
- Provide operational and optimization leadership
- Design, plan, implement, execute, assess and continuously improve the research administration activities within the School
- Manage and support daily operations, and assists the Senior Executive Director in managing the office in regular consultation with other key partners
- Identify and manage business process improvement initiatives
- Identify and manage training and professional development initiatives
- Implement policies, processes and procedures for operational efficiency
- Implement training curriculum
- Implement best practices
- Set strategy for the Office
- Lead team meetings
- Advise on School Research Administration operational needs
- Stay abreast of state, federal, institutional and other entities policies, processes, procedures, compliance and regulatory as it relates to research administration operations
- School, institution and community outreach
- Prepare and/or contribute to quarterly, annual, and other project update reports
- Evaluate processes and outcomes
- Identify or develop appropriate tools for evaluation
- Utilize both formative and summative evaluation strategies
- Support the use of evaluation results to improve processes and outcomes
