Job Title: Business Process Mapping Analyst
Location: California
Client: Large Health Plan
Start Date: Immediately
Duration: 3-months with the possibility for an extension
We are seeking a highly skilled Business Process Mapping Specialist with expertise in the health insurance and pharmacy sectors. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in process analysis, design, and optimization, with advanced knowledge of ARIS BPM (Business Process Management) software.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze, map, and optimize business processes related to health insurance and pharmacy operations.
- Document the interaction flows and process mapping between multiple departments as it relates to pharmacy.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify inefficiencies and propose process improvements.
- Create detailed process models using ARIS to ensure alignment with business goals and compliance requirements.
- Document and maintain comprehensive process maps, workflows, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Facilitate process design workshops with stakeholders and lead process improvement initiatives.
- Provide recommendations for streamlining processes, enhancing service delivery, and improving operational efficiency.
- Ensure all process mapping and design activities comply with healthcare regulations and industry standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in business process mapping, process analysis, and process improvement.
- Proven experience in business process mapping within the health insurance and pharmacy industries.
- Proficiency in ARIS BPM software.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, claims processing, provider services, or pharmacy operations.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience with process optimization in payer-provider relationships, formulary management, or pharmacy benefit management (PBM).
