Asset Development Lead

Our large pharma client is seeking an Asset Development Lead to maximize the value of assets within their Immunology portfolio through strategic planning and meticulous execution, from conception to commercialization. This individual will made data-driven decisions, identify key milestones, and assess risks to optimize asset value. We are looking for a collaborative team-player and true problem solver.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute operational plans to enhance asset value for current and future projects within the assigned portfolio.
  • Oversee the entire asset development lifecycle, from preclinical research through commercialization, ensuring seamless coordination between all involved departments.
  • Oversee the implementation of strategic decisions, utilizing data-driven insights and market intelligence to guide asset development.
  • Identify and manage critical milestones, risks, and opportunities throughout the development process.
  • Translate strategic directives into actionable plans, overseeing their implementation with a focus on achieving operational excellence and maximizing asset value.
  • Conduct thorough market analysis to gauge competitive landscapes, target demographics, and market potential for assets.
  • Lead and energize cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives efficiently.
  • Deliver clear and concise progress reports, milestones, and strategic assessments to senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Ensures all programs have adequate resources and expertise to meet the strategic objectives.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve development processes, identifying opportunities for optimization and efficiency.
  • Encourage professional growth and development among team members through coaching, training, and performance feedback.

 

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in drug development leadership within pharmaceuticals, biopharmaceuticals, or biotechnology.
  • Demonstrated success in overseeing the development and execution of one or more assets within Immunology.
  • Strong understanding of the drug development process, including preclinical and clinical development phases.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience leading cross-functional teams in a matrix organization.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills required.
