WHAT: Claims Solution Specialist
WHERE: Fully Remote, MST Hours
WHEN: ASAP, 40 hours/week, 6-month Contract with possibility of extension
Job Description Summary –

Our Claims Solution Specialists leverage their understanding of the professional revenue cycle to perform final validation and resolution of professional claims issues not requiring coding expertise. You will perform manual charge entry and participate with Claims Solution Specialist-Coders in the continuous improvement efforts focused on increasing the efficiency and accuracy of the professional claims process between multiple EMRs.
Job Description –
- Performs manual charge entry where necessary.
- Resolves basic to intermediate claims issues not requiring coding certification including adding, removing, and/or changing CPT, HCPCS, and/or ICD codes in accordance with standing orders and/or other standard operating procedures.
- Accurately extract relevant data from multiple EMR systems.
- Ensure data consistency and integrity across all platforms.
- Maintain accurate records of claims and data entry activities and report on data quality issues.
- Work closely with other team members and departments to ensure accurate and timely data updates.
Qualifications –
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Hard working and great attitude.
- Experience in healthcare data entry and/or related field.
- Experience using multiple EMR systems, preferably Epic and Cerner.
- Ability to work MST hours.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Must maintain the highest levels of confidentiality relating to HIPAA laws to protect patient information.
- Ability to work successfully in a fully remote, minimal supervision setting.
