Title: Epic Revenue Cycle Apps M&A Project Manager
Contract: 12 month contract possibility of extension
Location: East Coast, 90% remote with limited travel
Our Philadelphia AMC client is seeking an Epic Revenue Cycle Project Manager to lead the alignment of revenue cycle applications during their merger and acquisition initiative.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management
- Develop, execute, and monitor detailed project plans and timelines for all revenue cycle integration activities.
- Coordinate efforts across finance, operations, IT, compliance, and other key departments to achieve integration goals.
- Identify and mitigate risks to project timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders during the M&A integration process.
- Facilitate regular communication with leadership, acquired entity representatives, and cross-functional teams.
- Build strong working relationships to ensure alignment and smooth transitions.
Revenue Cycle Integration
- Assess and standardize key revenue cycle processes, including patient access, billing, coding, accounts receivable, and collections.
- Oversee the integration of revenue cycle technology platforms, including practice management systems and electronic health records (EHRs).
- Work with finance teams to align revenue recognition, reporting, and reconciliation practices.
Technology and Data Integration
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure the successful migration of revenue cycle, billing, and financial data while maintaining data integrity and compliance.
- Address system interoperability challenges and streamline workflows across disparate platforms.
- Monitor post-integration performance metrics to ensure systems meet operational and financial goals.
Qualifications Experience
- 5+ years of experience in revenue cycle management applications, including project management responsibilities.
- Previous experience with M&A integrations, particularly with healthcare Revenue Cycle applications, is strongly preferred.
Skills and Competencies
- Strong understanding of revenue cycle operations, including patient access, billing, coding, and collections.
- Expertise in revenue cycle systems
- Exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in project management tools such as Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, or equivalent.
- PMP or Lean Six Sigma certification is a plus.
